Origins Of ACNH

In the early days of the Animal Crossing series, there was a game called Doubutsu no Mori (Animal Forest) released on the Nintendo 64. It was a simple game where you played as a human who moved into a town populated by animals, and your goal was to befriend them all. The player could also decorate their home with any of the items they collected, and could even visit other players’ towns via the use of a Nintendo 64 Transfer Pak. Animal Crossing: Wild World was the first game in the series to be released on a handheld console. It was also the first game to introduce Wi-Fi functionality, which allowed players from all over the world to visit each other’s towns. The game was a hit, and eventually led to the release of Animal Crossing: City Folk on the Wii, Animal Crossing: New Leaf on the Nintendo 3DS, and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp on mobile devices.
